Our story

Why ITF exists

Inua Toto Foundation grew out of a group of young people who refused to wait until they had more money, more titles, or more time before doing something for the children around them. What started as small, pooled contributions became a foundation built on humanity, selflessness, and honesty about how much work remains.

Founded in 2021, ITF has grown into a foundation that has now reached over 2,000 children across the communities it serves, guided by five clear objectives rather than good intentions alone.

What guides us

Five objectives, one purpose

Everything ITF builds traces back to one of these five commitments.

01

Enhance access to quality education and holistic development for vulnerable children and youth

Mentorship, encouragement toward school, and steady presence in a child's life, delivered by people who show up more than once.

02

Promote the health, nutrition and basic wellbeing of vulnerable children and families

From feeding days to health literacy, closing the gap between families and the basic information and resources they need to stay well.

Clean water changes everything downstream.
03

Protect and promote the rights, safety, dignity and inclusion of children

Every engagement is consent based. We work at the pace and on the terms of the families and institutions we partner with, never around them.

04

Provide timely humanitarian, emergency and social support to children and vulnerable households

When a household needs help now, not next quarter, this is the objective that moves. Direct delivery, no long approval chain.

05

Strengthen partnerships and community-based systems for sustainable child and family wellbeing

ITF cannot do this alone, and does not try to. Partners, volunteers, and community structures are what make the other four objectives sustainable.
